Maintenance of the road to Punta de Mita

Also known as the Glamor Peninsula, Punta de Mita has become one of the main tourist destinations in the Riviera Nayarit and the Mexican Republic. However, working in a coordinated manner with society, business people and the government is necessary for the improvement of the urban image.

Having mentioned the above, the ADEPM in coordination with the government has been working on improving  the urban image. As is the case of the caring of nature and its environment, promoting sustainability, without forgetting that “being green” is not only an environmental issue but also an image issue.

The ADEPM, in coordination with the State and Municipal governments, has participated  in the improvement, maintenance,  care of roads, streets, and avenues in Punta de Mita, which residents, collaborators, and tourists use every day.

ADEPM recently reforested the banks of the La Cruz de Huanacaxtle – Punta de Mita highway, planting hundreds of endemic trees in the region. Using the resources that have been within their reach, they have cared for these trees so that they reach adulthood.

Although it is a small to medium-scale initiative, it is intended that the ADEPM becomes an important reference to the government in the improvement of the urban image of Punta de Mita.

Joint efforts of our associates will be necessary to improve reforestation, maintenance and cleaning of the bridge of the road to Punta Mita. There is no doubt that we still have much to be done to keep a sustainable destination.

A recognition plate will  be placed for the companies that have supported these actions. It will also be published in national and local media.

It is an opportunity to be part of the change and show the world that Punta de Mita not only has large complexes, but also takes care of its natural spaces, being an example of sustainable tourism.
