The region of Punta de Mita in the Riviera Nayarit, “The Glamor Peninsula” is currently one of the most exclusive and select places of the Riviera Nayarit, of incomparable beauty, with a seductive climate, It has become the favorite holiday spot for foreign visitors as well as the favorite choice of great celebrities. This peninsula, over time, the arrival of large investments, the demographic growth of the region, poor urban supervision and low water supply has caused that Punta de Mita be changing dramatically bringing this different challenges.
At present, and in the face of these risks, we, the local entrepreneurs, developers, hoteliers and citizens in general, have taken the initiative to conform “Asociación de Empresarios de Punta Mita y Riviera Nayarit A.C., ADEPM”; an organization created in 2015 of free afilition and whose main objectives are:
With this, a step is taken to obtain the first national certification as SUSTAINABLE DESTINATION. That does not exhaust their natural resources, nor jeopardize the survival of the planet.
To achieve this, we work with the Mexican government at the federal, state and municipal levels. Through the ADEPM, a force and a voice are created to be heard by the authorities, generating well-being for all in the region.

Is the voice with the Mexican government to have responsible urban growth in the region, integral development of Citizen Security and protects the environment and its natural resources of the urban, tourist, and conservation areas including Destiladeras, Punta de Mita, Litibu, Higuera Blanca and Sayulita.
Jason Lavender Refsnes is graduated of the Bachelor of Economics from the University of Texas, since that time has been in business and financial activity for more than 30 years, where he has successfully managed the financial group INTERCAM Bank and Brokerage House. Since December 2015, he has held the precidency of the executive committee of the Asociacion de Empresarios de Punta de Mita y Riviera Nayarit, A.C. In addition, he is part of the administrative council of the civil association of Litibu.
Adalberto Moreno is graduated of the Law Bachelor from the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Adalberto Moreno Benavent has managed business associations for more than 10 years in the area of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas, successfully achieving the link between the business sector and the three levels of government (municipal, state and federal). Since December 2015, he has held the general direction of the Asociacion de Empresarios de Punta de Mita and Riviera Nayarit, A.C.
Link the three levels of government in Mexico with the entrepreneurs, developers, hoteliers and society of Punta de Mita and metropolitan tourist areas, to preserve the development and growth, thus generating well-being in the region.
ADEPM is an association of free affiliation that contributes to the growth and urban development orderly and sustainable in the region of Punta de Mita and metropolitan tourist areas, uniting efforts by means of alliances with entrepreneurs, hoteliers, developers and people committed to the care of the region.
ADEPM develops social initiatives aimed at promoting important factors such as security, urban image, tourism infrastructure, connectivity, water and sanitation. These actions seek to generate greater investments by taking care of sustainability and strengthening the linkage of society and government.
