Punta de Mita square begins its construction

The ADEPM, in a firm agreement with the municipal president of Bahía de Banderas, Mirtha Villalvazo, is working on the necessary actions to build the Punta de Mita square. With the aim of offering more healthy and natural spaces for the people, residents and tourists of Punta de Mita.  This will allow a sense of community in the area as well as more natural and healthy space.

The last technical details regarding design and sustainability aspects that the plaza will have are in their final review phase, between the team of professionals from the municipal government of Bahía de Banderas and important construction firms from the private sector; Those who seek to offer the community a functional space with a traditional Mexican style identity to Punta Mita.

On the other hand, the Fundacion Punta de Mita, in agreement with the Paso Foundation in the USA, has already formalized the trust that will receive the resources donated by the private sector, where some donations have already been received, which already represent a part of the total. of the investment that the Punta de Mita zócalo square will have. Meanwhile, the land has already been cleared, the pangas that were there have been removed, and the site is being prepared for its construction.

In the near future, a meeting will be held with President Mirtha Villalvazo, to present the final project and define a timeline for construction. Once its approval is obtained, the construction of the Punta de Mita main square will begin. An action that will undoubtedly add as a very important attraction of the most renowned tourist destination in Nayarit, Punta de Mita.
