World Travel and Tourism Council grants to Puerto Vallarta Airport Safe Travels Seal.

The World Travel and Tourism Council is a forum for travels and tourism industry. Its members are formed by the world leaders in the tourism business sector. It is also recognized for being the only forum that represents the private sector in all parts of the tourism industry globally.

The WTTC presented protocols that are being applied worldwide to reactivate the tourism sector. You will be able to recognize it by using a Safe Travels Seal, the purpose of this is to obtain the traveler’s trust and guarantee health security.
“The protocols reflect the new face of tourism and seek the prompt revival of the sector, the recovery of jobs and compensate for the enormous financial losses caused by the fall in tourism due to the pandemic. Coordination in the sector is absolutly needed  and also is requered to implement global measures to return consumer confidence. All this must be also adopted by governments and the private sector, ”said Gloria Guevara Manzo, president and CEO of the WTTC according to an interview in the Tourist Report. Read More Here

These protocols seek to standardize criteria and provide health guidance to providers, travel operators and tourists, on the new approach to health and hygiene in the world. They are based on medical evidence and according to the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Prevention (CDC).

It should be noted that Mexico has been the only country that has not closed airport operations since the pandemic began in the country. GAP will offer commercial incentives to international travel operators and airlines to support and motivate the reactivation of international tourism. Undoubtedly the most important fact is that they offer tranquility and security to transit through the Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit International Airport since it has a Safe Travels Seal.
