Looking at Punta Mita and nearby towns with SECURITY

On December 6, 2017, a meeting between representatives of ADEPM and developers from the area took place with the main purpose of creating the Security Committee for the region.

At this meeting, topics such as the progress made by the ADEPM process, that began more than a year ago were evaluated in order to achieve the construction of the ENA (Naval Station) in Punta de Mita.

In addition, the Secretary of the Navy (SEMAR) confirmed that the donation request for the lands previously analyzed and evaluated in conjunction with the operational needs of the seamen and the ADEPM, has already been delivered to the corresponding FONATUR instance. So only the legal process is expected to continue so the lands are delivered as soon as possible to the SEMAR.

We continue adding efforts and support to maintain the security that today offers international class destinations such as Punta Mita and its neighboring towns. Ideas and strategies were also projected to obtain the necessary resources that allow the construction of the ENA, since it is considered an investment cost of around 90 million pesos.

During the meeting it was agreed that the image of this constructions will be sought to be regulated with the visual image standards demanded by the region and contemplated in the Partial Plan for Urban Development of Punta de Mita.

There will be constant meetings between the Security Committee already established and the SEMAR to continue evaluating the progress made in the process of requesting the donation of the land and determine the actions that will allow the construction of the ENA in Punta de Mita.

Leave us your comments and proposals that you consider important regarding the Security of the Punta de Mita region and surroundings.
