Installation of the Working Group for follow-up and execution of the Intervention plan for Riviera Nayarit

The Secretariat of Federal Tourism SECTUR considers the participation of the ADEPM very important and essential in the tourist development of the Riviera Nayarit destination.

Last December 12, ADEPM received the invitation to be part of the creation and implementation of the working group that will monitor and execute the Intervention Plan for the tourist destination Riviera Nayarit. Also present were the Undersecretary of Innovation and Tourism Development, Atty. Rubén Gerardo Corona and the Secretary of Tourism Nayarit, Atty. Eulalio Coronado.

In this meeting, topics such as the guidelines already established by the laws of the country were reviewed, which govern the bases and actions to be carried out to carry out this tourism intervention plan.

The purpose of the installation of this working group is to evaluate and manage actions that maintain the prestige of the Riviera Nayarit brand. This will involve the participation of the various social sectors and the aspirations and demands of society to incorporate them into the plan and development programs.

For the construction of said programs, the proposals of the entities of the sector, those of the local governments and those of the society will be taken into account, and the objectives, strategies, priorities, and instruments must be specified, as well as those responsible for their execution.

The Ministry of Tourism is the government institution that exercises the power to formulate and conduct the policy of development of tourism. It is also the instance of government that establishes the bases for its planning and programming, under the criteria of social benefit, sustainability, competitiveness and balanced development of the state governments, municipalities and the federal district, in the short, medium and long term.

With this we move towards obtaining the distinction that the ADEPM is looking for converting Riviera Nayarit into the first sustainable destination in Mexico.
