Foreign and sustainable investment at the right time for Nayarit

To continue the actions towards responsible growth, the Governor of Nayarit Antonio Echevarría García, welcomes foreign investments with sustainable policies.

The main purpose is to obtain more and better resources, with the intention of an economic progress for Nayarit.

“The tourist development Costa Canuva”, is a project of FONATUR; it is what is known as an Integrally Planned Center (CIP). It is the result of the association with the most important construction company in Portugal “Mota Engil”. It is located in the municipality of Compostela, in the state of Nayarit; 65 kilometers from the International Airport of Puerto Vallarta, will have an area of 255 hectares, including 3.8 kilometers of beach and 3 cliffs overlooking the sea. It will have 5 luxury hotels, commercial plazas and an 18-hole golf course designed by renowned golfers.

The Governor of Nayarit, Antonio Echevarría García, invited to receive this project to the ADEPM, as well as the Chinese Ambassador in Mexico Qiu Xiaoqi and to representatives of very important companies of the People’s Republic of China in the banking, construction and engineering sector, real estate, telecommunications and information technology, as well as representatives of companies engaged in international trade, tourism and hospitality. All gathered to confirm their interest in the benefits of the state of Nayarit.

Governor Antonio Echevarria, grateful for the interest of China and the ADEPM, ratified the government’s position on the state’s sustainable and economic growth; It is confirmed as a facilitator for the investment and announced the obtaining of the necessary resources to improve the connection and mobility of the area. A bridge with a cost of 150 MDP will be built to connect and give easy access by road to the visitors of Compostela and Costa Canuva.

Our President, Jason Lavender, recognized the openness that has been received by the State and Municipal governments to promote investments with sustainable policies and carry out actions that make Bahia Banderas stronger, with this the distinction that the destination is seeking to be the “First sustainable destination in Mexico”.
