In this agreement it is established that FONATUR will donate the land which was previously assessed and analyzed for this purpose, certifying that it meets the optimum characteristics to carry out the construction that an advanced naval station may require.

This agreement also establishes that the Secretary of the Navy (SEMAR) will provide the personnel and equipment for the daily operation and development of future actions that the Navy may require. The investment calculated to build the Naval Station Punta de Mita, is of around $70 million pesos, these resources will be provided by the State of Nayarit, the Municipality of Bahia de Banderas, and the private sector, this being also one of the clauses that makes reference to the agreement delivered by SEMAR to the different actors involved in the development of the Punta de Mita Advanced Naval Station.

The ADEPM is analyzing this agreement with the legal department of SEMAR and FONATUR. Once this area is also in agreement with the stipulations of the document, the donation of the land will proceed, and then begin to gather the corresponding resources that will allow maintaining security in the Riviera Nayarit.
