In the field of sustainable development, it can be conceptually divided into three constituent parts: environmental sustainability, economic sustainability and socio-political sustainability.
In the field of sustainable development, it can be conceptually divided into three constituent parts: environmental sustainability, economic sustainability and socio-political sustainability.
The youngest municipality in the state of Nayarit, Punta de Mita has made important progress to comply with the sustainability policies and objectives established by the National SECTUR, with the aim of obtaining under presidential decree an eco-sustainable Punta de Mita, with a corridor tourism planned for an orderly and responsible development with the environment and the first in Mexico.
The coordination between the private initiative, the different governments of Mexico and society is the precise way to generate an orderly development that allows improving the quality of life in the communities and also being more attractive to generate more investments to the Riviera Nayarit.
Given the accelerated growth of the municipality and the region, ADEPM has been working with the agencies in charge to generate the policies and bases for a new Urban Development Plan for Bahía de Banderas and a Partial Development Plan for Destiladeras – Punta de Mita.
With the support of urban planning experts, analysis and observations have been carried out in order to enrich both development plans and that these can be successfully applied and for the benefit of a responsible and orderly development and that will also lead to Punta de Mita become an eco-friendly brand, which in addition to caring for the environment, also has an exponential increase in economic income. It is important to emphasize that the Bahía de Banderas Urban Development Plan currently in force was established in 2002 and does not consider the existing needs in the municipality today.
