ADEPM shares its proposals with the Nayarit candidates “Alianza va por México” for the Government of the State of Nayarit and Bahía de Banderas.

In May 2021 and with hosts of excellence, at the Hotel Iberostar Punta Mita, the ADEPM held a meeting with the candidates of the PAN, PRI and PRD alliance with the aim of sharing the projects and proposals that the ADEPM has raised for a better development in the area. Given the accelerated growth that has occurred in Bahía de Banderas, the ADEPM has been working to establish the favorable conditions for the Riviera Nayarit to have sustainable development.

The lack of planning, together with the bad practices that we have committed as humanity, today are reflected in the municipality as needs that require immediate solutions. It is not far off that there is a severe water crisis, a situation that afflicts the citizens of Bahía de Banderas and Compostela.

Tourism in Bahía de Banderas, capitalizes more than 63% of tourism in the state, most of it is sustainable, with 1700 million pesos a year, Bahía de Banderas has the first state place in contributions to Nayarit, due to tourism national and foreign receiving.

The ADEPM approached the candidates of the Alliance for Mexico with their proposals, in order to sign a collaboration agreement, creating a commitment to work under the same axis of participation, communication and support between the state, municipal government and the private sector in favor of citizens and the natural environment.

In order to carry out all the necessary actions and apply the available resources to provide an immediate solution to important needs to attend to Bahía de Banderas and Compostela, this agreement includes the following projects:

1-Aqueduct of Bahía de Banderas, to supply water to the entire municipality of Bahía de Banderas.

2-Construction of the ENA (Advanced Naval Station of the Riviera Nayarit)

3-Partial Plan of the Destiladeras – Punta de Mita tourist corridor, in addition to carrying out all the necessary actions to obtain the Presidential Decree as the 1st Sustainable Tourism Development Zone in the Country.

4-Manage before the public authorities and the private initiative to be able to specify the Bypass From Bahía De Banderas – Puerto Vallarta or Cruz De Huanacaxtle Suburban Highway to Puerto Vallarta Airport
